Foreign Ministers and government officials of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states ended their morning session after long discussions over a range of global issues.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The second day of the NAM ministerial meeting started at the International Conference Hall of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in Tehran this morning.

Yesterday and on the first day of the ministerial meeting, Iran officially received NAM's presidency from Egypt, the former head of the 120-member bloc which is the biggest international body after the UN.

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi is presiding the two-day ministerial meeting.

The ministerial meeting of the conference started after senior foreign ministry officials and experts of the NAM member states ended their two-day discussions in Tehran Monday afternoon.

The experts meeting was aimed at drawing up the agenda for the 16th heads-of-state summit meeting of the bloc to be held in Tehran on Thursday and Friday.

The experts meeting was held within the framework of two political and economic committees headed by the Cuban and Egyptian envoys respectively.

Over 150 world states and global bodies have sent their representatives to the NAM meeting in Tehran.
